So we went to the park this evening after school. We are trying to soak up all the nice evenings because there are not going to be very many when winter starts. Plus, the parks are pretty quite on the week days. The weekends, they are just covered with kids. Tonight was great. Natalie loves the park, she loves to be able to do things herself. As you can tell from the video she knows where she wants to go, what she wants to do and what she wants you to do. Hummm, bossy already! At least this time she didn't lick the playground equipment. Yes, when we went to the park over Fall Break, Natalie was going up the steps to the slide and slipped a little and touched the handrail with her mouth. Of course, I had to make a face and say "yuck" which provoked her to then lick the handrail over and over to see me make the face again. Of course, I did and got flustered thinking that she was definitely going to have the swine flu now, how can you not if you are licking public equipment. Anyway, she still healthy! I guess she follows the rule "God made dirt and dirt can't hurt." Needless to say, we left the park very quickly because she would not stop licking the handrail.
This time at the park was good, not germs ingested this time. I think! She sure does love the slides. Here are a few pics and of course the video of her doing it all by herself! She is independent!
