Ladybug Halloween

Happy Halloween! Natalie was our little ladybug this year! And by the end of the night she was a pro trick-or-treater. At the first house we went to, she took the candy and held it in her hands and would not put the candy in her bag. Then at the second house, the guy leaned down to give her some candy and she put her candy in his bowl and said "thank you." he then gave her back her candy and some more from him and then it was on!

She just realized that she was getting candy! After that, she would knock on the door, and while saying trick-or-treat, start reaching into their bowl of candy, then turn around saying thank you running to the next house! She was too cute, of course! It was so fun to take her around and let her enjoy her first real Halloween. Last year, she was dressed up, but we didn't go out, she was too little!

Once we were done, she sorted through that candy, she took it out of the bag and back in the bag all night long. She even wanted to take candy with her into the bathtub and boy did I make her mad when I wouldn't let her put the suckers in the water with her. The funny thing is that she was so entertained with moving the candy around that I don't think we even gave her any to eat, she never really asked!
